best compliment of the month

I was on the way to the T this morning, dressed in a skirt because I was going to the temple, but bundled as well as I could since the forecast had said a high of 24- thick tights, long scarf, cozy hat, and shoes that are easy to walk in. I was going for comfort and warmth, to the extent possible at any rate. As I hurried to the T, a woman was getting out of her car. She looked friendly and we exchanged smiles and good mornings. Then she said, "You make cold look pretty!" Thanks! I thought that was a nice way to start the day.
