lanterns and pizza

We went to the lantern festival at Forest Hills Cemetery and brought lots of tasty pizza.  It was very dark when we left, and we didn't have flashlights.  We saw a firefly!!  and tried to chase it.  It got away, and we headed out.  Only... we didn't notice the right path had little lights along it and we got lost.  We came to a gate and tried to ask where the gate we wanted was, but we were told we were very far from it or the T station.  We started to walk away, then went back to ask them to point out on my map where we were.  Then they had us wait a minute and did a little walkie talkie action and a guy in one of those electric golf cart truck things came and told us to hop in.  I hopped in the cab and Erin hopped in the back, and the guy wound us around the paths of the cemetery toward the gate we wanted.  We each had a moment of thinking, is this ok? ...night, a stranger, in the back empty reaches of a cemetery, winding up and down, this way and that, who knows where we are going...  But it was fine, and the man was nice, and I got to practice my Spanish.  It was like being on a disney ride, all pitch black except for whatever fell within the small scope of the headlights. We got a very unique experience!
