new roommie?

My new roommie and I moved into our new apartment on Saturday. We spent Sunday and Monday unpacking and settling. We have a back door that goes out from the living room to the porch; the "screen" door had glass panels so we had it propped open to get better airflow. Sunday afternoon in the midst of the unpacking mayhem, I was getting things from the living room and looked out the door. To my total surprise this gray squirrel carrying a green thing was peeking into my home and taking a tentative step forward. I shouted something in my surprise, which startled the squirrel and made him drop his green thing. However he was still interested in moving in with us, so I shooed him away and shut the door. Later I figured out that these two random screens in the hall closet are interchangeable with the glass panels, I swapped them and now we can get a nice breeze and live in a squirrel-free home.
